Caring for Your Lingerie: Tips to Make It Last
Learn the secrets to extending the life of your most treasured pieces. From washing techniques to storage solutions, a little care goes a long way.

Delicate lingerie deserves careful handling. With the right approach, your favorite pieces can maintain their beauty and integrity for years to come.
The Golden Rule: Hand Wash
While it may seem time-consuming, hand washing is the single best thing you can do for your lingerie. Use cool water and a gentle detergent specifically designed for delicates. Never wring or twist—instead, press water out gently.
When Machine Washing
If you must use a washing machine, always use a mesh lingerie bag and select the delicate cycle with cold water. Hook bras closed to prevent snagging, and never wash lingerie with heavy items like jeans or towels.
Drying Techniques
Never put lingerie in the dryer. The heat can damage elastic, warp underwires, and cause shrinkage. Instead, lay pieces flat on a clean towel or hang them to air dry away from direct sunlight.
Storage Solutions
Store bras by stacking cups inside each other to maintain their shape. Keep delicate pieces in a dedicated drawer. Rotation is also key—avoid wearing the same piece two days in a row so the elastic can recover its shape.
